Application for admissions AY2020-21 opens 15 Oct 2019 till 19 Mar 2020. Students enlisting in Full Time National Service (NSF) are encouraged to apply before serving the country. Important: Mandatory granting access of official transcript via International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO):
Students applying for admissions to NTU Singapore are REQUIRED to grant NTU direct access to their official transcripts via IBO, latest by the NTU application closing date of 19 March 2020 (for students taking the Nov 2019 exam session or earlier) or before 5 July 2020 (for students taking the May 2020 exam session).
Students are strongly advised to do so before their IB results are released in January or July (depending on the exam session), by submitting their transcript requests through their schools' IB coordinators. After the results are released, each request will incur a USD $17 fee and must be submitted directly to IBO via the “IBO request for results service” link.

Butterflies at NTU Singapore #NTUsg #NTUsgSmartCampus
A new sci-art sculpture imitating fluttering of butterflies at the lush green campus of NTU Singapore unveils. Comprising 1,200 magenta and purple butterflies that move with the wind, Loop is a 4.5-metre tall work that evokes the mathematical infinity sign. Designed by NTU students, it is the latest addition to the NTU’s Campus Art Trail which now consists of more than 50 artworks all over the campus.

Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) has topped the rankings of the world's young universities by London-based education consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for the sixth year running.

NTU Singapore rises to 11th in QS world university rankings
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) has risen one place to be ranked 11th in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) global league table of top universities. This makes NTU and the National University of Singapore, which is also ranked 11th, jointly the highest ranked universities in the Asia Pacific.

“I Know NTU” Series #4: NTU’s Green Initiative – EcoCampus
NTU’s PowerZee app allows students to reduce its campus energy bills, simply by push of a button on their phone.
Co-developed by ENGIE Lab and NTU, the crowd-sourcing app is designed to engage and educate students and staff on energy savings and efficiency through user engagement and gamification, enabling them to take an active role in direct electricity savings, advocating better use and control of campus energy, water and waste. 
The app is launched to the public at the 2017 Singapore International Energy Week (23-27 October).

In 2016, NTU managed to reduce its water consumption intensity by 6%. This equals to about 57 Olympic swimming pools full of water. NTU envisions to be the greenest campus in the world.

NTU’s Engineering Subjects ranked in the World’s Top 25
In this inaugural “I Know NTU” Series, we introduce NTU College of Engineering (COE).

In the latest 2017 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject, NTU was named among the world’s 10 best universities for two subjects – NTU’s Electrical & Electronic Engineering ranked 6th best in the world and Materials Science 7th best internationally.
 
NTU was also ranked
11th globally in the subject ranking of Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering,
17th globally in the subject ranking of Chemical Engineering,
20th globally in the subject ranking of Computer Science & Information Systems, and
