For International students
All international students will require a Student’s Pass to study in Singapore.
If you have accepted the University's offer of admission, the University will apply for the Student's Pass for you (applicable only for full-time students).
The Singapore Government’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) takes at least 6 weeks to issue the provisional Student's Pass Approval Letter.
Not all nationalities require a visa to enter Singapore. Check with the ICA website to see if your country is one of them. For those who require a visa to enter Singapore, NTU will send an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter, which will include a pre-approved single journey visa. The single journey visa allows you to stay up to 30 days in Singapore. You are to produce this letter at the immigration checkpoint when you enter Singapore.
