Tuition Grant Recipients
Singapore Permanent Resident (SPRs) and International students (ISs) who have graduated from an Autonomous University (AU) e.g. NTU, NUS, SMU etc. for their undergraduate programmes and are applying for the graduate programmes, please refer to the
TG-FAQ for more information. You are required to apply for deferment through the MOE TGonline System at least 6 weeks before the commencement of your deferment period. Failure to submit your application within the stipulated timeframe could result in a rejection of the application.

Bond Management (6-year Bond Obligation)
If you are admitted for the full-time coursework programme and were previously awarded an undergraduate scholarship to study at NTU with a 6-year bond obligation, you will need to write to the following Office/ Ministry for approval to pursue the research programme at NTU:

Please be informed that if you are not a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, you are to ensure that you have a valid immigration pass throughout the entire course of study. Do check the

International Students (Full-time)
For International students holding student's pass, you will receive an email from SAO-ISS regarding health screening appointment and student's pass registration. Our office will email you the In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter upon receipt from Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore.
All students (Part-Time and Full-Time) must undergo and pass a health screening test prior to admission to the University. Please note that health screening fee(s) will be borne by the students. Do allow
5 to 7 working days before matriculation for your health screening test to be processed.
Part-time and/or local students can proceed directly to University Health Service (UHS) for their health screening. For exemption of health screening, please approach the staff at UHS.
