What does a higher degree by coursework and dissertation involve?
It involves formal classes, lectures, tutorials, seminars, laboratory work and written examinations.
Project-work on which a dissertation will be written. Some programmes allow you the option to take a few extra courses in lieu of dissertation.
Classes are usually held in the evenings from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm. They range from once per week to four times per week depending on whether it is full time or part time studies.
