The DSO PhD Research Award is offered by the DSO National Laboratories to Singaporean graduates who have achieved excellent academic results in Engineering and Science disciplines and are keen to apply their knowledge for defence research and development.
- Candidates will undertake PhD topics related to defence science and technology.
- Co-supervision by DSO researchers and faculty members from the University.

- Discuss your interest with any of the Adjunct Professors from DSO currently teaching in NTU or faculty member to find out about possible PhD topics before making your application.
- Topics of research are not confined to the research areas of these adjunct professors. If your interest falls outside of these areas, they will be able to link you with the appropriate research staff in DSO.

- To apply for this award, you must first apply for admission into the University. To start, please click here to complete the application form. In the online application form, there is a section on DSO PhD Research Award that you can fill in. Based on that, your application will be given to both DSO and the School of your choice for evaluation and shortlisting.
