š On~Campus Accomodation
On-campus accomodation shall not be guaranteed to exchange students. Students must be prepared to live off-campus should their application for on-campus accomodation be unsuccessful.
Exchange student shall be able to apply for on-campus accomodation upon receipt of their E-Acceptance Package, through ISC Exchange Web Portal prior to the stipulated closing date.

E-Acceptance Package)
Due to limited on-campus accomodation, hall assignment priority shall be given to exchange students on course work, and allocation of accomodation shall be subject to availability through a random balloting system.
Should you be successful in securing on-campus accomodation, housing will be in one of our 16 undergraduate Halls of Residences based on double occupancy, where only 10 Halls have air conditioned rooms.
Hall assignments are randomly allocated, and request for room mates or transfer of halls shall not be entertained.
For students unsuccessful in their application for on-campus housing, they shall be recommended off-campus accomodations at hostels located within short bus rides to NTU.
š Furniture & Fittings Available in On~Campus Accomodation
Rooms are furnished with a bed, mattress, study table, chair, wardrobe, bookshelf and soft board (to pin notes ..etc). Each room is fitted with window coverings such as venetian blinds or curtains, lighting and a fan.
There are phone jacks and ethernet connections in each room. Other fittings may be provided and these vary from hall to hall.
Some personal items to bring or buy for your on-campus accomodation:
- Shower tote / bucket
- Toiletries
- Towels, washcloths (2 sets recommended)
- Shower shoes
- Single-size bed sheets / linen, blanket, pillow and pillow cases
- Laundry bag, detergent
- Clothes hanger
- International Adaptor
(Singapore's electricity voltage is 220-240V with ac, 50 cycles per second. Generally, the electricity outlets are
three-pronged - 2 parallel flat pins with a ground outlet).
š Off~Campus Accomodation
Exchange students unsuccessful in securing on-campus accomodation and/or students coming on Research and Work Exchange, please begin your search for accomodation well in advance of your departure for Singapore. Estates near NTU include Boon Lay, Jurong West and Jurong East.
Appended below are a few hostels that you may contact for off-campus housing. These hostels are located within short bus rides to NTU and available in their vicinity are amenities such as supermarkets and food centres where you may shop for essentials and buy your meals
