The iXchange Experience

NTU is a beautiful campus. There is such diversity, and it is enjoyable walking around. We saw wild pigs, huge snakes, parrots and even hornbill birds. I will miss the extremely loud thunderstorms!

Attached is a picture of myself and my lab group for the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Laboratories course. This course provided a great opportunity for me to interact with local students. It's amazing how many questions they ask!

If I had to do something different, I would have taken asociology course. A couple of my friends did, and the interesting facts and conversations that came up in those courses provided insight into understanding the cultures and how Singapore is as a nation.

Thank you for providing me with a great exchange opportunity.

Coming to Singapore as an exchange student from Sweden has been very interesting and enriching. This part of the world is very different from a Scandinavian country in terms of both culture and climate. Having countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam within two hours by flight makes an exchange year in Singapore much more varying than it looks like on the map.

I have taken most of my courses here at the Nanyang Business School and the quality of my courses has been astonishingly good. I will always remember the exchange period here in Singapore as a tough, instructive and inspiring study period combined with unforgettable trips around the region.

An amazing experience! I was very excited about coming to study in Singapore and it has been even better than I expected. I have made lots of new friends from all over the world and find it very interesting to learn about different cultures. It is also a great opportunity to study at one of the top ranking university for engineering. NTU makes studying more interesting and varied thanks to its use of technology such as video lectures and e-learning. It is also nice to be able to explore the rest of asia during vacations. I would recommend an exchange at NTU to anybody.

The best decision of my life. Singapore is the best starting place to explore the Asian continent and all the different countries, cultures and people. Residing on NTU campus brings you close to Singaporean classmates and friends and their lifestyles. It is so interesting to share ideas and experiences not only about Business courses, but also about cultural activities that are going on, like a visit in the Singaporean Art Museum, the Steam Boat Hall event, travel journals to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangkok or meeting up with all kinds of different classmates to enjoy the great variety of food, shopping malls, bars and clubs around Singapore.

The outstanding reputation of NTU is recognised all over the world and the experienced professors and variety of subjects ensure that you will never get bored
