Activities, Projects & Requirements
A. TF LEaRN @ NTU Events & Activities:
LEaRN scholars are to participate in all activities such as the Orientation, Singapore Tour, Meet and Greet Temasek Foundation, Networking Session and Farewell Event etc. organised throughout the semester.
B. Reflections and Journal Reports:
LEaRN scholars are required to periodically write down their reflections as well as to produce a journal with photos of 500 words at the end of the TF LEaRN Programme @ NTU on their Singapore immersion, community service learning and host family experiences.
C. Community Service Learning:
Apart from the semester course work at NTU, each LEaRN scholars are required to spend a minimum of 20 hours on community service learning during the period of TF LEaRN Programme @ NTU.
LEaRN scholars will be attached to the NTU-Welfare Services Club student group for community involvement projects.
D. LEaRN Mentor Programme:
Each LEaRN scholars will be paired with a NTU faculty mentor to gain a lifetime of international understanding coupled with a holistic experience of living and studying in Singapore.
LEaRN scholars are strongly encouraged to continue to be engaged with their mentors and fellow LEaRN scholars following the end of the TF LEaRN Programme @ NTU.
E. LEaRN Projects:
LEaRN Scholars will be divided into 3 core project teams, to work on projects such as the Memoire, Video and the Farewell event. Each team will work on their respective projects to conceptualise, plan and execute with guidance from the NTU, Office of Global Education & Mobility.
F. Temasek Learning Journey:
1-day visit to the Temasek Foundation’s office.
G. International Relations/Leadership Forum:
1.5 day International Relations/Leadership Forum to encourage interaction, network and exchanges of views and ideas among the LEaRN scholars (both inbound and outbound students) and the professionals.
H. TF LEaRN Sharing Sessions:
LEaRN scholars are required to share their LEaRN experiences through seminars, blogs, university websites, presentations at their home university and country after the TF LEaRN Programme @ NTU.
LEaRN scholars are also required to periodically complete an online feedback form to share their LEaRN experiences at their home university and country after the TF LEaRN Programme @ NTU.
