MOE Subsidy
The Ministry of Education (MOE) provides funding to subsidize the cost of part-time degree programme at the following rates:-
- 40% of the total cost for Singapore Citizens (SC)
- 20% of the total cost for Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR)
SCs and SPRs undergraduates pursuing part-time programmes who meet the following criteria are eligible for the subsidy:
- Have not previously received a government subsidy/scholarship for a first degree; and
- Be at least 21 years of age; and
- Have either 2 years of full-time work experience. A part-time employee is one who works for less than 30 hours a week, under contract of service with an employer)
Rules on Payment of Fees:
- The University Council reserves the right to alter fees at any time.
- Fees must be paid after the first two weeks of each semester.
- A student whose fees are not paid by the end of the stipulated period may be suspended from attendance at classes until all fees, including the late fee of $10 are paid in full.
- A student who leaves the University two weeks or more after the commencement of a semester is liable for the payment of fees for the whole semester.
- The Ministry of Education, Singapore, does not grant Tuition Grant for part-time undergraduate programmes.
