Tuition Fee AY 2005-06 

The annual full tuition fee/subsidised tuition fee and tuition grant for Academic Year 2005-06 are as shown in the table below. The information here applies to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents. Please note that the fees for the Academic Year 2006-07 are subject to review.

The subsidised tuition fee amount is inclusive of 5% GST.

  • The tuition grant amount is before 5% GST.
  • Students who are liable to pay full tuition fee must also pay 5% GST on the tuition grant amount.

Notes on payment of fees

  1. Students who do not sign the tuition grant agreement or who are not eligible for tuition grant will have to pay full tuition fee plus GST on the tuition grant amount.
  2. Fees (tuition fee and compulsory miscellaneous fees) are payable by students on a semester basis regardless of whether they are on Industrial Attachment, Overseas Exchange Programme, etc or otherwise during the semester.
  3. Students who are completing one last subject in order to graduate, are also required to pay fees (tuition fee and compulsory miscellaneous fees) on a semester basis.
  4. Students who withdraw or apply for leave of absence from the University two or more weeks after the commencement of a semester are liable for the payment of fees (tuition fee and other compulsory fees) for the whole semester.
  5. National servicemen whose enrolment in the University is delayed by one or two years because they have to fulfil their NSF commitment, are allowed to enjoy a one-year or two-year lag in the payment of amount of subsidised tuition fee. For such students, the amount of subsidised tuition fee they have to pay will be shown in their electronic bills issued by the Office of Finance. The amount will depend on the year they were first offered a place in the University.  For example, if they were offered admission in AY 2003.  They pay the subsidised tuition fee applicable for AY 2003 when they are admitted to the University in AY 2005.
