MOE Bursary For Part-time Students 

Who is eligible?

  • Part Time Programme: Only Singaporean students pursuing their first undergraduate degree are eligible
  • Students receiving the bursary must not concurrently hold other bursaries or scholarships
  • NIE trainee teachers whose tuition fees are paid by MOE and/or are drawing salary/stipend from MOE are not eligible to apply
  • Gross monthly Per Capita household Income (PCI) of less than or equal to $1,700 per month.
  • A bursary may be awarded to you depending on your financial situation and criteria set down by MOE

Gross income of family members in household 

Total number of family members in household 

               Gross income refers to amount before deduction of CPF. It includes allowances, overtime, commissions etc.

Quantum

  • S$800 per award if PCI is between $1,201 and $1,700.
  • S$1,200 per award if PCI is less than or equal to $1,200. 
  • Bursary is tenable for one academic year

Repayment

Not required.

How to apply

  • Submit Application Form, Document Checklist and relevant supporting documents;
  • The award may be offered depending on your financial situation and criteria set down by the University/MOE.  
  • Outcome of your application will be informed to you via your NTU Student Email Account within 4 weeks of receipt of all the relevant documents.
  • Funds will be disbursed to successful awardees within 4 weeks after offer acceptance.
