NTU believes in helping students realise their fullest potential. In order not to deny a university education to students with financial difficulties, NTU offers a range of assistance schemes which help local and international students with their tuition fees and personal expenses.

Full-Time Programme

 

Full-time undergraduates of all nationalities

Up to 90% of subsidised tuition fee payable by Singaporeans One guarantor Minimum $100/mth repayment over a period of 20 yrs 

Interest free until graduation thereafter interest at average prime rate of the 3 local banks

Full-time undergraduates of all nationalities

Per Capita Income of family must be less than or equal S$2,400/mth for SG and SPR students, and less than or equal S$1,200/mth for international students

Must be held concurrently with one or combination of the following:

TFL / CPF Education Scheme /  Mendaki TTFS

- 10% of the subsidised tuition fee payable by Singaporeans

- Optional living allowance of up to S$3,600 per acad year

One guarantor Minimum $100/mth repayment commencing 6 months after graduation, or on securing  employment whichever is earlier

Repayment period between 5 - 20 years

NTU Study Loan (NTUSL)

Part-Time Singaporean undergraduates

  1. International students paying non-subsidised tuition fees are not eligible to apply for financial aid schemes
  2. Students will only be covered under these schemes for the first 3 years of the Biomedical Sciences & Chinese Medicine programme
  3. NIE BA (Education) and BSc (Education) trainee teachers whose tuition fees are paid by MOE and/or in receipt of salary, stipend, allowances, bursaries, scholarships or other forms of financial assistance from MOE are not eligible to apply for the NTU-administered financial assistance schemes except for the 3 schemes below:
