The Singapore Airlines-Neptune Orient Lines (SIA-NOL) Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students of Indian nationality for 4-year undergraduate studies at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Who is eligible? |
Citizens of India who have completed Standard 12 (Science stream)
or
are completing Standard 12 (Science stream) in year 2009
or
Year 12 equivalent are eligible to apply for the scholarship. |

- Outstanding academic results
- Excellent Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) records
- Strong leadership qualities

Any Science and Engineering undergraduate programmes except Biomedical Sciences & Chinese Medicine. |

Coverage |
The scholarship covers the following:
- Tuition fee directly payable by students (after Tuition Grant)
- Living allowance of S$6,000 per annum
- One way ticket at the beginning and a return air ticket at the end of the scholarship term
- Settling-in allowance of S$200 (One-off)
- Accommodation allowance pegged at the lowest double room rate for on-campus accommodation

Bond |
Scholars, on completion of the programme, will have to serve a 6-year bond working for the sponsoring companies, their subsidiaries or any other Singapore registered organisations. |

Application procedure |
- Submit your online application for admission to NTU
- Apply for the scholarship with your assigned application number
- Upload a recent passport-size photo (digital image)
Photo specification will be stated at the end of the scholarship application form.
Please note that only shortlisted applicants would be required to attend an interview scheduled in May/June 2009 in India. The decision of the University on the selection of SIA-NOL Undergraduate Scholarship recipients is final. |

Other notes |
Scholars must maintain a satisfactory SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) on a semestral basis for the scholarship to be renewed. |
