An integral part of an enriching university experience is to immerse yourself in the pulsating, energetic vibe of residential life that is distinctively cosmopolitan in NTU. Our on-campus residence infrastructure that dots the sprawling campus ground is one of the largest in the world. The halls accommodate some 9,200 students. This allows us to guarantee residence to all freshmen students who apply. We provide both on-campus and off-campus accommodation options. Here are some pointers to get you moving in.
When do you apply for accommodation?
You can apply for hall admissions after accepting the admissions offer from NTU.
On-Campus Accommodation
Every freshmen (both at NTU and NIE) will be guaranteed an accommodation place when they apply by the stipulated hall application closing date.
Freshmen are encouraged to stay on-campus in one of the 16 Halls of Residence. The allocation of a room in a hall is carried out randomly.
Off-Campus Accommodation
To help students find off-campus accommodation, we keep an online list of private apartments and rooms available for rental. This list is made available to you after you accept the admissions offer from NTU.
